trying to unearth what exactly the drama around tipping was on here last night and not quite piecing it together 

@itsbasil seems to have casted something controversial that was deleted

@brykayne seems to be opposed to tipping culture 

the economic reasoning behind tipping seems to have been discussed by a few folks

what did I miss?

To clarify:

People can spend their money how they want to. 

I just think tipping is not a problem worth solving. 

I wouldn’t personally participate in tying my engagement to giving away my money. It just doesn’t add up for me. 

But if that floats your boat, go for it.

When @jacek said he wasnt focusing on tipping in the new client, that made me bullish and reflect on tipping as a solution to a problem, and I posted my thoughts last night.

I’m still heavily invested in $DEGEN, probably too heavily. 🎩
