The end of July is the return of dark nights, as well as the beginning of the activity of the most famous meteor shower - Perseid. If you now have a clear sky and the opportunity to observe, then it makes sense to turn your gaze to the constellation Perseus. But it is also worth looking in the opposite direction from the radiant of the meteor shower. Why? Because looking in the opposite direction from the radiant of the stream, there is a higher chance of seeing bright meteors, including fireballs. The constellation Perseus is located in the north, so the bright bolides and meteors that I said will be observed near the Milky Way, and the picture of a meteor flying near the Milky Way is very beautiful, as in the photo above.
