Less in favor of means testing, there’s already a spectrum of amounts disbursed.

More in favor of removing the cap on amount of income subject to SS & Medicare taxes, to increase $ coming in for both programs and emphasize the social safety net is about raising everyone up in old age.

You have to cut from somewhere and eliminating people who really don’t need to be on it seems like a great way to do that 

She points out SSA is supposed to prevent poverty 

We could probably withdraw benefits from net worth $500k+ at retirement, not sure where her exact cutoff is 

She also wants to raise age and change how the benefit is calculated entirely
