My end game when its all over is to own one of these. Bookstore & Cafe (speakeasy after hours) - a place to stock my friends books, art, physical goods - a place to gather and host workshops and other events - a place to discover unique literary works from all over the world - a place that can be a refuge for political dissidents (esp when speaking out against injustice) I tried my hand at owning a bookstore out of my loft apartment in Nashville on weekends and I never stopped thinking about it since.

We have a general store /cafe in town that has become kinda this… depended on a family pumping in $ to renovate and be okay operating at either a loss or low margin. Public Good - a great use of personal wealth imo …

That’s exactly why I need like 1 insane app that makes revenue that I can sell for a crazy bag and be done with it haha I know it will operate at a loss (at least for 4-5 years) and I need to make sure I can personally live well despite that for at least a decade I want my shit to feel like Colette in Paris. A staple for 20 years and influenced culture everywhere, to close on their own terms—not because they had to.
