I nearly cried during my demo at the apple store. strange how they could screw it up so badly.

haha, in the demo, someone was caring for a baby rhino. i was so close i could’ve reached out and pet it. a baby rhino!? i don’t know why but i never fully believed they existed. it broke me.

Apple thinks VR sells on the extraordinary—front row at the World Cup, infinite monitors, skydiving. 

But what moves people is simpler: petting a baby rhino. Chasing a butterfly. Presence, not spectacle.

This is the first time I’ve ever really wanted to try it ….
