The game plays out in OpenTTD. I’m working on a diagram but essentially, players buy shares/coins of any of the 6 companies. If I buy 10K $NFA then that translates to in-game cash given to the NFA company at the start of the game. Transaction fees also contribute towards the capacity the 6 cos have to build their freight portfolios. The game will be streamed and segments of the game will be available for players to assess the co’s performance and make adjustments. // OpenTTD gives us an insane amount of leeway in manipulating the game state, we are actively working to pinpoint the best interactions for players to make during the 2 week royale.
