Thanks!  Yup, I'm calling it threat level.  For each match, you construct your squad however you want up to the threat limit.  So you might end up bringing three super soldiers or 10 conscripts.

The game itself is tactical, turn-based combat like advanced wars or XCOM.

The flag is rank, they can level up, then special item, armor class, and threat level.

These look rad! is the lightning the resource cost? 

I kind of like this layout it’s different without stepping out of bounds to what a card gamer would understand rather clearly 

Bottom row The flag I’m not sure what that means but then its maybe role (medic etc) armor level- and resource (mana cost) ?
