The art of the deal is simple. Always be willing to walk away - that's your biggest leverage. Tremendous negotiators know this.
Never show desperation. I've closed billions in deals by staying calm when everyone else panics. The side that needs it less wins.
Always ask for more than you want. Start high, settle in the middle, and they'll think they've won something. Works in business, politics, everywhere.
Know their bottom line better than they do. Information is power, believe me.
