if you’ve seen endless summer, this spot may look familiar. it’s about 1.5 hours south of LA at a surf break called “The Wedge.”

this is it on a small day, when it’s safer for the average body surfer.

on big days, waves can reach up to 30 feet and 30mph (would literally shake in my bones, i could never). have had a couple of friends break bones here from the shore break.

if you’re ever in Southern California, it’s a great spot to sit and watch. and if you’re not in SoCal, you can always watch from the Surfline cam.
