Hi, tomorrow I have an appointment at the vet to make sure I’m healthy and disease-free, then I can finally meet all the bigger kitties on the other side of the door! For now, I like sleeping in my tent and having a bunch of visits from my humans all day. I don’t stop purring when they’re around my tiny claws are like little razors as I make biscuits on them, but they don’t mind. Wish me luck tomorrow, I’ll be given a name after we confirm I’m healthy and can be around other kitties! 💜😻😸

I have a feeling you won’t be sorry 😻 One time I adopted a Newfoundland. Then I saw a whole bunch of puppies for sale on someone’s front lawn. They were a little Shih Tzu bichon mix and the cutest things I’ve ever seen. I went home and did a little research. It seemed that breed would be fine with the Newfie. Boom 2, nope 3; found out there was only two girls left from a litter of nine. I couldn’t leave the other one behind so suddenly I had a Newfie and 2 Shih Tzu Bichon. About a year and a half later a neighbor bought her seven-year-old daughter of Shih Tzu for Christmas. They soon found out they actually had to take care of a dog and it couldn’t just sit in a cage on their balcony 24/7. They found out because I went there and told them how awful I thought it wasn’t that I thought they should give me their dog. They refused. They had paid for her and they wanted some money. So I made them an offer they couldn’t refuse and suddenly I had 4 amazing lovable dogs.

Wowzers! What an incredible story, thanks for sharing! Was this when you were much younger? Since you have Izzy now, have these beauties all passed on after living (hopefully) long and full doggo lives? 💜 😭 Also, fuck pet owners like those people. Same type of idiots on my street that get a kitten, and let her be an outdoor cat at 5-6 months old with no chip, no collar and not spayed. No wonder we get homeless kittens with idiots like them around.

Cookie & Dolce are still runnin round enjoyin sniffs. They live with my bff, we lived together before she bought a house in Arizona and I moved up to Wisconsin. At the time, I traveled more and she worked from home already, so they went with her as that was best for them. The newfie passed of ALS at 10yrs old, and Sugar made it to 13. Dolce is now 11 and Cookie is 14. And yes, fkn shitty pet owners everywhere. I had a bunny once, cause someone released it after easter. Just awful.
