I'm in San Diego, California, we only get snow very high up in the mountains, sometimes. I right next to the US/Mexico border. 

I believe the entire West/Pacific Coast has the overcast weather & microclimates all along it.

Ahhhh, that makes sense. Do you also get no (or very minimal) snow through the entire winter? I lived in BC for a year and that's how it was, just lots of rain. Is the entire west coast that same type of thing?

Yes the summer temps should start showing up in another couple of weeks. We have this thing called May gray and June gloom here where it's overcast by the coast for most of the morning, if not the day. It usually goes away in July. Then it will stay warm throughout October/November.
