People don’t want to see uninteresting replies and casts.

Best way to solve for that is weight historical inbound engagement for a user, i.e. PageRank-like score for every user.

Disproportionally hurts new accounts. Making it harder to get started.

I think it's interesting to have some % of randomness to avoid never seeing new (even possibly boring) content.  this also makes room for new users to "break through" vs feeling they're in an empty cave and being turned off.  current meta has people I've onboarded feeling lonely and like they get no engagement.
