UV maps are an undiscovered market… some thoughts 🧵

Fighting the Nephilim with the power of cool designz.

If U think about it, a UV map is the interop layer between 2D and 3D. So collaboration is kinda in their nature.

A 3D artist defines the space. A 2D artist defines the surface. The UV map is the exchange layer.

This creates a market where different artists can remix the same form, layering meaning and value on shared digital objects.

Each part can be tokenized and their value can be combined in new ways indefinitely.

A epic item in a game could be wrapped by a well known artist to create an even more rare version.

A 3D artists sculpture could be layered with an oil painters work.

Different takes on the map itself could be tokenized. Changing how the same art maps to the mesh.

This not only creates a market asset but  a huge opportunity for customization in spatial experiences.
