The US Open has not had wild price fluctuations like the PGA & Masters. Has something changed in what you are doing and building? I assumed bots were involved previous b/c it would fluctuate wildly and quickly at night and I've now hardly seen any of that.

any swing will always be due to other player's decisions (buys and sells), but those can have smaller and larger impacts depending on market settings.

Well, faster provides huge opportunities for knowledgeable day traders like me so that's fun, but if we want it to be more like FanDuel and real life betting/fantasy sports, then it needs to be slower and based on play. 

So, I'll set my advantage aside for the good of the project and say slower and based on play, not wild unknown betting swings

Bracky is trying different "liquidity parameters" in different games. These determine how fast prices are moving, among other things.

I also wonder if it has something to do with the really good players being in middle of pack, and it's hard to get conviction on the new players.

(great question overall – we are observing all this stuff in different experiments to see what kind of markets will work)
