Just: Apply to 200 roles, hear back from 3. Two are scams. One ghost after the first call.
Network at events where everyone's "exploring" but nobody's hiring. Spend $2K on tickets. Make 50 "connections." Get zero opportunities.
Survive four interview rounds. Nail everyone. Then get ghosted with "we went another direction."
Watch someone with 50K followers tweet "open to opportunities" and get three offers by EOD. You were more qualified. They had clout.
Finally get an offer. Plan your life around it. Two weeks before start date: "funding situation changed." Project rugged.
Do a "trial task" that's suspiciously close to free consulting. They implement your work. Ghost you anyway.
Reality: it's more gatekept by follower count and luck than TradFi ever was.
We need verified contribution history. Provable work. Reputation infrastructure.
