GM fam, have some CastDex news emerging from last night. We built our check-in contract to be immutable by design. After 00:00 UTC yesterday, Hamma and I spotted a double-claim glitch and a decay calculation that wasn’t behaving as intended. Left unchecked, it would’ve drained the reward pools within days. To safeguard our sponsor-first model, we urgently enhanced and redeployed the contract—unfortunately resetting user streaks in the process. I’m worse than a noob. I’m emotionally turbulent, drink too many sweet drinks, and have constant WhatsApp overwhelm. In India, they’ve begun to ask for your number when you go to a store. They say it’s for billing purposes. I always turn them down. It’s the gradual normalisation of surveillance. These companies will collect this data and sell it en-masse to marketers. Not cool. I can now see the argument for crypto.
