Dear @ba , @cojo.eth I’m writing this post and casting primarily for you, and secondly for other users who are using Ponder Based on the screenshots I’ll share, it should be clear what the cast is about, namely, how Ponder, due to potential system failures or possibly because the mini-app was not properly or fully built, caused some serious issues… So, I’d like to share a story of how, in my case, Ponder deducted $5 from my wallet, did not refund it, and provided no support, despite the number of times I tagged the project’s founders, which will also be visible in the screenshots

Let me start with some context: I created a poll on Ponder, and within about three minutes I decided to record a cast about how the most popular Warpcast personality types had voted in my poll. In the last 20–30 seconds of the poll, I decided to vote myself and placed a $5 bet on the “Yes” option. The transaction was submitted, but immediately returned an error saying it was too late to vote. Naturally, I assumed the funds would be refunded right away. But nothing happened Right after that, I made a post on Warpcast to let the community know that there was either a bug or some kind of system issue, and I requested a refund, since I did not participate in the poll and the money was still deducted as if I had Afterward, I began tagging the project founders and the @ponder (AI bot in the comments), asking them to take notice and fix the issue. I’m confident I’m not the only one who had funds deducted without actually being able to vote…

Then @cojo.eth asked me to share the transaction link. At first, I suggested he DM me so I could send it privately (for a bit more anonymity), but I later realized anyone could view my wallet through my profile anyway, so I just posted the link under his comment And the response? - Nothing!!! No reply after that, despite me tagging him several more times , along with @ba

To this day, nothing has changed, and I still haven’t been refunded, even though this was clearly an erroneous transaction caused by a malfunctioning mini-app. The fault lies not with the user, but with the system I also found another user (@sakata) who experienced something similar, but even more strange. He placed a $5 vote, and the outcome was also nothing - the system just shows 0 Please fix these bugs, refund users for such issues, and finish building your app properly so situations like this don’t happen again I believe this doesn’t just apply to Ponder, but should be a cautionary note for other mini-apps as well, don’t repeat these same mistakes Thank you for your understanding🙌
