This is one of the first directionally correct takes on crypto terminology that I’ve seen

We absolutely should not be nerfing the language we picked because it conveyed a key idea, in a misguided effort to roll out the red carpet for normies who don’t give a shit either way

We should just plan on steamrolling the old meaning of “wallet” until it loses its old connection with the “place where things of value are stored” and comes to mean what we mean by “wallet”

“Call” for a while just meant a short visit. And then the telephone hit. 

If you’re not confident that crypto is a more potent technology than the telephone, what are you doing here?
