if they didnt raise 150M from a16z, and didn't put crypto front and centre. they wouldn't have attracted such speculators in the first place.

80k DAU really is not that much, sybil or not. so maybe the overall quality of the network and content would be higher without all the spam/farming content attached to it, which is really difficult to filter out.

How do you attract the -high quality- crypto people, but keep the low-quality adversarial stuff at bay.

That's the hard thing, I guess.

It's either permissionless or it's not.

If you don't raise the money, can't hire the right team and take a long term approach.
