This year I built: I performed 3+ UX Audits for super based products. @kombatxyz , Egoblox and Podx by @folajindayo I also supported @base.base.eth builders globally by giving them the opportunity to know more about their founder @jesse.base.eth (this thread got over 78K views on X) https://x.com/blessIngIdowuj/status/1854804783741186223 Impact: My UX audits have helped to increase the conversion rates of these based project ultimately increasing the value of the @base.base.eth ecosystem. It also given these projects visibility (over 5k views) A lot of based builders got more interested in the @base.base.eth ecosystem due to my thread on Jesse "Builders lifting builders up" as Jesse will say, that's been my vision for 2024 and will be for 2025 Stay based✊ ⏺️
This week I built: 🔵 Onboarded 4 new users to test Space Shooters and received valuable feedback from them 🔵 Got onboarded to the /base-builds channel by @oluwasemiloore ❤️ 🔵 Attended the @baseenugu Builder's Space on X where I learnt how to scale our projects especially after the buildathon. I love the passion they have for building❤️ 🔵 Contacted Sam Kwabena, Founder of Hypaverse and asked for mentorship after receiving valuable advice from @kokocodes 🔵 Made a Demo video for our Project and posted it on YouTube. This week I built I spent 8 hours researching @jesse.base.eth, founder of Base, and found these facts: 1. He's Married: Jesse married in June 2024 and even onboarded 117 people to Base during his honeymoon. 2. He loves photography: He shares cool photos on his site✨🤍. 3. Started Coding in High School: He began coding in high school, building projects that sparked his tech interest. 4. Co-founded Clef: He co-founded Clef, a 2FA tool, earned him early tech recognition. 5. He Joined Coinbase in 2017: Pollak quickly rose, leading major projects. 6. He Built Coinbase Wallet:7. His work on the wallet contributed significantly to Coinbase’s goal of bringing the world onchain 7. Founded Base Blockchain: Base became a top Layer 2 by Q3 2024. 8. Vision: His vision is for 1B people and 1M devs to be on-chain with pillars: Creativity, Innovation, Freedom. I decided to go out of my way to fulfill @jesse.base.eth vision for @base.base.eth - "Onboarding a Billion Users to Base" I decided test this saying - "Base is for everyone" So I visited a barbing salon + laundry shop and spoke to Oluwaseun and his friends about Base. But I encountered a big problem, they hadn't heard about Base or web3 before So I did this.. I took my time to explain the various benefits of coming onchain with Base and web3 in general. At first, they were reluctant and irresponsive but when I broke it down, they became excited. Yes, they wanted to become based! I got Seun a Basename within a few minutes, and invited him to the Base Africa community His apprentice was also interested in coming onchain but the funds were minimal at that point.
