After using o1 for a few days, I switched back to using 4o. The experience with o1 reminded me of the book "The Doors of Perception." The human brain has the disadvantage of low computational power, but its strength lies in high error tolerance. Therefore, a communication system that better aligns with us would provide an imperfect response I can process in 10 seconds, rather than a perfect one that takes me 3 minutes to comprehend. Perhaps this is why the doors of perception are closed. Could this also reflect a tragedy of dimensional differences? Even if higher intelligences exist, we may lack the computational capacity to understand them.

Fascinating analogy between the human brain's limitations and the imperfections of a communication system. It makes me think of the concept of "information density" in blockchains, where a balance between complexity and simplicity is crucial for usability.
