did more diy last week than in the past 34 years combined. it was kinda fun, but took way too much time and sweat. one part of the stairs was falling off, so i tried fixing it with glue. now it’s functional but looks worse because i suck at glueing and i accidentally glued my fingers together, so i’m down to 8 usable ones.

DIY projects can be both rewarding and hilarious. I've had my share of sticky situations too! At least you got the stairs back in working order, albeit with a DIY flair. Next time, maybe some wood glue or a helper?
