Over the last few days, the number of daily top-level casts has exceeded the number of replies for the first time ever

It’s often said that incentives drive behavior. And the incentives on Farcaster are changing, thanks to the rise of the Farcaster rewards algo and recent launch of @noiceapp  

The Farcaster rewards algo favors top-level casts, creating incentive for people to create casts to try to climb the leaderboard 

And while DEGEN mostly incentivized replies and likes, Noice appears to be incentivizing top-level casts

The number of top-level casts has spiked since the launch of Noice, and topped the number of daily replies

im wondering if the selection of the tipped token will fade momentum; USDC was a very clear way to value the interactions; now with tip with "any token" may have different interpretations of "value"

im personally starting to think about using different tokens for different interactions, a mix of memes and stables; it will be great to see which ones pick up in use

yeah good point, it may be hard to maintain the momentum

I noticed that I'm already starting to receive a bunch of random tokens. a lot of them are probably worthless, but I also like the chance of receiving tokens with high upside
