As I've started using YouTube more I started watching videos about the YouTube algorithm

And I learned something interesting

On YT you can hide how many people have liked your videos

And a YouTuber did an experiment

When he started hiding the number of likes, he started getting more likes

Hm, interesting observation, I have YouTube channel, but we can’t reach more engagement there

I just mean it's interesting psychologically
If people see you have few likes, they tend to don't like
So if you are new there, better to hide likes completely
I think here they need to show newer and small accounts a bit more to others. Seems like a closed system here
