under what horrific circumstances did you lose your childhood pet and why was it a hamster

I had a pair of snakes and I would feed them tiny fish and they had babies which was absolutely horrifying and the pet store told me to feed them even tinier fish so I got some baby fish and the adult snakes ate all the fish and one of them died with like 13 fish inside of it. Later the other one escaped and I found it weeks later inside my closet. From then on I had recurring nightmares about baby snakes in my room so I just put the snake outside.

Hahahahaha I found a snake and two frogs once in the park, little me put them together in a terrarium 

Woke up one morning and one frog was gone, eaten by the other frog

Next morning the snake had eaten the other frog

then my dad made me release it lmao

Nature is wild. Used to have a bullfrog in my backyard as a child that was the biggest frog I have ever seen. He used to eat birds. I rescued a couple of em, but I am sure there were plenty I couldn't save.
