okay I’ll bite

for us layman can someone explain why some updates can be forced via a simple “restart” notification and others need to be updated via the App Store ?

what kind of update specifically would be in one category or the other

 I like to learn

you know i think  about this anytime i get a farcaster notification for update

I’m sure it’s a matter of complexity prob but I wonder what the break point is
