the difference between accounts that say just pay your home off if you have the means vs the ones who say deposit that cash into a HYSA is immense

Almost unequivocally the people who say pay your home off have far better takes and ultimately far more money - why else would you need you squeeze 1-2% extra on your 1 million dollar home funds unless you were really in a tough spot

if you have the means to do so, just buy a house fully in cash instead of getting a mortgage. muh capital efficiency

most people are in the camp of pay it off or put it into hysa risk free
