okay I’ll bite

for us layman can someone explain why some updates can be forced via a simple “restart” notification and others need to be updated via the App Store ?

what kind of update specifically would be in one category or the other

 I like to learn

We ship new stuff multiple times per day 

Most teams ship a bunch of stuff in a batch every 1-2 weeks

that makes sense I just meant more from a technical perspective unless that's not a limitation, like are there some things that you HAVE to do via a let's call it "real" update through the app store, or can everything be done via the restart warpcast button

We just try to do everything as live as possible. App improves. We get feedback sooner.
