I’d argue that out of all the relationship types - family, romantic, friendship, etc., friendship is the one that is the least important to remain physical over virtual Friendships of shared interest are so much more powerful than friendships of proximity, and with the power of the internet we can now find people who truly share our interests and values vs being forced to make due with whoever by pure chance was born in a few mile radius of you I met more of my best friends in life online than anywhere else

yes, friendships of shared interests are powerful. in fact, that’s how i’ve made most of my friends. i’m grateful for technology, but while the internet brings our minds closer, the body still longs for presence. so what happens to that need?

For sure. True connection isn’t about distance …it’s about shared values. Sometimes virtual bonds run deeper than physical ones
