why is it considered more dystopic to put on an AR headset to work in all day than it is to stare into a 27 inch rectangle all day?

I think the dystopian vibe from AR headsets over traditional screens comes down to immersion. With AR, the blending of digital and physical worlds is so seamless that with time the simulated environment can start to feel more real than the actual world around us.
