Many L2s connected together by the op stack make a superchain just like many websites connected together by the https protocol make the internet. Yes, a long way to go — but we said the same thing during the TCP/IP vs OSI wars. Ultimately, whichever approach gets the most real world adoption and practicality wins — but that’s all up to the apps.
