Healing is quiet work.
No loud announcements.
Just you, sitting with the ache, choosing not to run back to what hurt, and forgiving yourself for not knowing better before.
Some days it looks like joy.
Other days it looks like not texting them.
Itâs sleeping in.
Itâs journaling at 1AM.
Itâs deleting old messages without crying.
Itâs saying no and not explaining why.
You're doing the hard work, the kind that doesnât post well.
But it shows...
in how you talk to yourself now,
in the way youâre learning to let go,
in the boundaries you no longer break for others.
If you're healing, I hope you know you're not too slow, too emotional, or too messy.
You're becoming.
And that counts.
