Honestly Pichi, I wish I could relate to this, it's deeply concerning, and I feel I'm being affected in some way, but the thing is, I don't use the home feed. I interact solely from the notifications tab where I only see the accounts I choose to engage with. So the algorithm artificially boosting visibility doesn't much get noticed by me because I only interact with what I'm notified about. To be fair though, the few times I scrolled through the home feed, I HARDLY SAW THE ACCOUNTS THAT I INTERACTED WITH THE MOST, SO SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY WRONG

That actually says a lot. The fact that you only use notifications and still feel something’s off when you do check home feed proves the point , the algorithm is clearly misaligned with real engagement patterns. People shouldn’t have to opt out of discovery just to maintain relevance.
