🌸 Communication is the live wire of every relationship 🌸 Words are powerful & when communicating with people, we should filter or select our choices of words to avoid hurting their feelings. If you are in a relationship, consider how you both communicate, especially during disagreements. Disagreement is a must but how you handle it will determine how sweet your relationship will be. Questions to ask yourself: 1. Do I listen with the intent to understand or just to reply? 2. How do I respond when I feel hurt or misunderstood by my partner? 3. Are there recurring choice of words or tones that escalate our arguments? 4. Do I give my partner the opportunity to express themselves or bring the past to hurt them or keep reminding them of how they are used to doing same thing? Tip: Choose one small change to try today. e.g, Pausing before responding, or asking clarifying questions. Also try to listen to understand & not to find faults. Try to speak peace so you can experience peace in your relationship.

Most times when two people in a relationship are having reoccurring issues, if you check well. Lack of communication is always the cause. It’s either one of them haven’t learnt how to express their feelings to the other when hurt or both are yet to figured out how to settle their differences through mature communication.

You are right bro. Some assume that their partner must know they are feeling hurts. That's absolutely wrong, we should learn how to express our feelings both of love and pain. Don't assume he/she must know
