Tinkering is great. It just isn't a business. But I don’t mistake it for building a business or company. Tinkering should be fun. It doesn’t need a reason to exist except for you enjoying it. Building a business can be fun too, but it needs a reason to exist and distribution channels to get to those who benefit from its existence. Two different things, even though they look almost identical at the start. One of them you can do forever. The other one has to eventually work.
