None. History is a belief, like nearly everything else, to which we either adhere or not, based on affinity or simply a desire to believe.

Government's educate most of its citizens on history, therefore not much. For example, the Eastern Front in WW2 was 5% of my text book in school, and at least 50% of the real conflict.

Aging is prompting my reevaluation of learned beliefs. Collating diverse, credible sources, reducing bias, and fostering critical thought for a nuanced, comprehensive understanding of events can lead to a more accurate understanding.
