the day in the life of a female founder during day one of spring break: 8am - childcare option flakes out 9am - panic mode + inbox triage 10am - replacement childcare identified 12pm - lunch at home with kids 1pm - handoff to babysitter 1:30 - 3pm - work calls 3-4 pm - website review meeting (IRL) with block committee 4-5 pm - inbox triage 5pm - final work call of the day 5:30 - evening prep 6:30 pm - attend banquet / gala with a friend if there's one thing I have learned it's that the kid chaos will continue to happen -- but the better you can prep and plan for contingencies, the more you can still have successful hybrid days like this
