I kind of love the constraint-based creativity that being on a budget promotes.
My husband was nominated for a creative arts Emmy Award for his work on SNL this year. But it’s been a year of tight budgets as I’ve pursued entrepreneurship.
I managed to:
- Find a killer gown for $60 at a vintage shop
- Book a flight to LA on miles
- Reuse shoes from a prior event
- Borrow jewelry from a family owned business in NYC’s jewelers row (for some free cross-promotion)
