Feeling major FOMO not being at FarCon this year — but also really grateful I went to Token2049 in Dubai this week. Hard to even describe how massive it was. Tens of thousands of people, crypto literally everywhere, 10+ AI x crypto events, and insane founder + investor energy despite the market. Crypto fully took over Dubai. I’m a Farcaster OG and always will be, but it was refreshing to get out of the bubble. Of the hundreds of people I met, only ~2 mentioned Farcaster → that’s both a huge opportunity and a threat. Also left with deep appreciation for IRL. Demoed Senpi live to thousands, answered questions face to face, built real emotional connections. Nothing beats that. One thing that surprised me — 90% of people exchanged Telegram QR codes. The rest? LinkedIn(!). No X, no Warpcast. My honest advice for FC: get out there more. Growth won’t just come from cheaper signups. It’s about showing up, meeting people where they are, and becoming part of the broader crypto culture.
