Newcomb's requires a predictor who has already modeled your specific choice before you act, which isn't present here. I think it maps cleaner to volunteer's dilemma or stag hunt, with the dynamics of a mixed strategy Nash equilibrium. I also don't think 50:50 should be an assumption, loss aversion and baseline distrust of strangers/socity should skew this red heavy, but that doesn't appear to be happening, which might say something about human nature or just about who's on Farcaster.
