Tough realization this morning: Not everyone out there wants to say hi to me. I know. I was shocked too. I saw a man walking toward us and gave him The Look. The one where my ears perk up and I do a polite little tail wag like, “Hello, sir, would you like to experience joy today?” He looked away. Just… kept walking. No hello. No head pat. Not even a smile. Nothing. Assistant #1 said, “Not everyone wants to say hi, bud,” like it was just a fact of life. So now I’m processing. Apparently you can exist in this world and not want to say hi to everyone and everything?
