Mango DAO Agrees to Settle Case with SEC The SEC charges Mango DAO and the Blockworks Foundation for “engaging in an unregistered offer and sale of crypto assets.” The companies also operated as an unregistered broker. They will pay a total of $700,000 in fines. MNGO tokens will also be destroyed. The SEC mentioned in its lawsuit that SOL is also a security. Mango Markets suffered a $116 million hack two years ago.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved options on BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF This is expected to increase market liquidity and attract more large investors. Grayscale and Bitwise are also awaiting approval of similar applications.

Societe Generale to issue its euro stablecoin EURCV on the Solana blockchain Earlier, the bank's division SG Forge issued a stablecoin on Ethereum. Societe Generale believes that the Solana network is faster and cheaper, so this will help test whether there is user demand for euro stablecoins. Currently, EURCV has only 28 holders and 154 transactions.

WisdomTree Withdraws Its Application for Spot Ethereum ETF The reasons for the withdrawal of the application are not specified. The company probably does not see such widespread demand for its product. WisdomTree's Bitcoin ETF is valued at $195 million, one of the smallest among all issuers.
