do any other creative people here find that they jump around different creative activities and struggle to stick with one? a few weeks ago I was in a massive rabbit hole of teaching myself 3D (something I will definitely go back to at some point - just not been doing it recently!). now i'm all-in on web design again.

Sounds kinda adhd tbh. Not to diagnose you but often laziness + burnout is actually adhd. Especially if you’re a creative who gets really excited about something and then burns out after a week. It’s kinda a hallmark of adhd.

I think it could be a normal thing, I just find that most of my neurotypical friends are able to stick to one project for longer and don’t have the same hyperfocus until burnout pattern. The burnout for me usually comes from being way too invested in something and unable to divert my focus to other things. So I’ll spend like a week fixated on doing one thing, make a mistake/hit some road bump and decide I’m tired of it and then go back to scrolling.
