Context: my wife is a pediatric physical therapist and also specializes in pelvic floor therapy. She recently launched her own practice and is starting to explore Instagram for her business. I'm curious if Farcaster might make more sense for her.

Unrelated, but social + Google reviews are undervalued in the health industry. I have a friend who is making a killing just by asking patients to just leave a review. Your wife should make herself discoverable + trustworthy.

I'm gonna follow this adventure as my wife is also a pelvic floor physical therapist. She doesn't do pediatrics though. Her focus is just pelvic health with a side of workers comp/FCE work. Dueling interests.

The crypto social layer is a great kernel of core users who get the value of a social protocol. But I hope we get to the point where people outside crypto get it and non-crypto content dominates. Makes me cringe hard when I see businesses building all their customer relations on Facebook. Ditto for community groups.

FWIW - If her business relies on in person appointments then FC makes no sense. If she might sell an online course or paid webinar maybe then getting a small following here maybe worth it. But it will be small- subset of subset on here. FarcastHER has been overrun but a seperate channel would work.
