Is it just me, or am I missing notifications for replies? I noticed some people had replied to my posts, but I wasn’t aware of it. Is there something I need to adjust on my end?

If the  algo labels them as spam, you won’t receive a notification at all. It can be frustrating. I use Recaster a lot because of this.

Same here, I miss a lot off notifications. Once very few days I’m checking my casts replies manually.
