PROOF OF WALKING DOG EARLY AT 8:23AM. I did it! I woke up at 7:45am to my “beat the heat, walk the dog” alarm. We walked for 1.5 hours and got back before 9:30am. We even managed to stop at the store. I bought two fresh baguettes, still warm, and even found sour haribo gummy bears which I’ve been searching for here in Spain for the longest time but have been very difficult to find. Alas, I can rot my teeth to my preferred candy. Shoutout to BM supermarket (which for English speakers the initials used are slightly unfortunate, but whatever.) I think it’s one of my favorite supermarkets in Spain. Anyway, I haven’t posted a photo of myself in a while because I was insecure about my teenage forehead acne breakout, but it’s subsided and I can ease back into my dgaf mood and even post a non-edited photo, acne spots and imperfections. Hope you enjoy this photo of proof of acne and proof of still having a face and proof of walking dog early. (Sorry I’m not smiling, I don’t smile before 11am.)

On my route to coffee, there was a truck that parked in its driveway and blocked the sidewalk by about 3/4, so I left a note tucked under their wiper: "Hi! Could you pull up a little bit to not block the sidewalk? Thank you!" And, lo and behold this morning, the truck was pulled up a little bit and the sidewalk was unobstructed. That was a nice bit of morning kindness.

If the us has a "strategic" eth reserve doesn't that give them a pretty big (read: outsized) influence on fork choice? We talk a lot about how usdc and other stable coins could legitimize a fork based on which assets they recognize. But, imagine if the us starts staking eth validators and then, because it's government, they never update their clients for upgrades and only recognize the old chain. Are we just stuck with that chain because of their economic influence? Are we cool with (committed to) forking out and slashing the us government?
