The biggest paradox in Web3: Ethereum will win when people stop realizing they’re using Ethereum. The future is frictionless. The tech disappears into the background. 🌍🧵

/ To drive adoption, Ethereum needs to fade into the background. Just like we don’t think about “using the internet” anymore—we just open apps and do things. Ethereum has to evolve the same way.

/ 🌍 We’re not there yet. Today, Ethereum is still too “in your face.” Wallets. Gas. Long tx hashes. Confusing addresses. That’s not what a smooth user experience looks like.

/ One of the major friction points? Addresses. Those long alphanumeric strings are unreadable, forgettable, and confusing . They disconnect users from the experience and they limit use cases. What we need instead: a name. Something familiar, human, and memorable.

/ That’s what we’re building with 0xname.foo : A simple naming system that turns 0x1234... into bob@herdao or bob@eth etc. It’s a small change—with a huge impact. It makes Ethereum feel personal, simple, and human.
