One of the worst things about getting old is you can't just enjoy recorded music the way you used to. Amy Lee is such a gifted vocalist, but this album finds her drenched in gratuitous reverb. And I know she supposedly never uses pitch correction ('cause why should she -- her pitch is as perfect as it gets) but these vocals sound ... disturbingly processed. Why can't I just appreciate the good stuff without sweating the details like I used to. FML.
