California primaries are pretty f'd because they are completely open and only the top 2 go to the runoff. Since there are only 2 serious Republican candidates and way too many Democrats splitting the vote, we may end up with 2 Republican candidates in the runoff that few actually want elected. Who you vote for is thus a bit of a Keynesian beauty contest. Becerra is a Biden-era flunkie. Matt Mahan doesn't have a chance, and he's a bit too beholden to the tech-bro class. (I do think he's been a good mayor for San Jose, where I live.) Katie Porter is basically just another Elizabeth Warren establishment Dem.
