AC Milan legend Gennaro Gattuso, 47, has been appointed as the new head coach of the Italian national team, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri on social media. The report says the contract has already been signed, and an official announcement is expected next week. Gattuso stepped down as manager of Croatian side Hajduk Split on June 5. Over the course of his coaching career, he has also managed clubs like Marseille, Valencia, Napoli, Milan, and others.
